There is a crazy water heater in my basement that keeps going out.  For a while we have the hot water we need and everything is fine, but then the flame dies down, the pilot light goes out and we have to light it manually.  I bet you can see where I am going with this.  After 25 years of pastoral ministry, I have come to accept the reality of needing to re-ignite my passion for serving Christ.  I believe in the power of God's Spirit, I am devoted to doing ministry in a biblical, God honoring way.  I am committed to contemporary forms without compromising the message...
